Management of warehouse
To build a strict and holistic system
As a guarantee of safety, the warehouse shall consider individual features of each dangerous good according to related laws and rules. The rigorous guidelines of dangerous goods warehouse management and safety operation procedures shall be formulated, and to be executed by its handler. The warehouse is also responsible to do registration, to file records and to provide reports according to governmental regulations and requirements of the administration department
Strict in-and-out system for warehouse
The stockkeeper should strictly check item、mark、package、quantity and meticulously complete the registration when D.G inbound or outbound. It is important point for two persons to twice check. In addition to registering all detail information about name、location and where D.G should be tracked.
Appropriate selection of location and stacking
The storage method and quantity of D.G must comply with the relevant national regulations. To choose a properly location of storage and properly arrange the corresponding ventilation, shading, waterproof, moisture-proof, and temperature adjusted conditions. The D.G should be stacked which based on the type、package and size. There must be a reasonable distance between the size of the stack and the stack. Meanwhile, no stacking or putting any items around the fire-fighting equipment and distribution box besides reasonable distance.
Security of operation for storage and loading
In the operation of storage and loading, it is necessary to strictly abide by the relevant regulations and operational procedures. Reasonably select equipment for loading and offloading, and properly handle the packaging that does not meet the operating requirements before proceeding. Stockkeeper have to regularly inspect the types and quantity of D.G which related facilities, clean the warehouses in time and conduct necessary disinfection treatments. It is strictly restrict to unapproved person into the warehouse.
There must be tightly emergency procedure and waste disposal measures
When the D.G warehouse suffer an emergency, every staff should be arranged and handled emergency. Including report the situation, on-site emergency handling, evacuation, blockade, and division of labor. Commander must have relevant professional knowledge and be proficient in operating skills when under Emergency.
